About
About This Blog
This blog complements my main site: Slidebay.com. This blog summarises my own observations and findings on presentation design, technique, resources, and experiences. I put here my observations on presentations that I have watched or found, resources for presenters, and reviews and ideas from my own reading. I hope you find it useful and, if you do, I hope you leave comments or reactions somewhere on this site.
About Slidebay.com
On the main site, Slidebay.com, I have written a series of scripts to facilitate the search for model presentations and public domain images on any topic, useful for anyone seeking a few ideas or expert sources for their own slideset design.
Try the Search for PowerPoint Slidesets
You may be preparing some PowerPoint slides. You need material or inspiration. You know that someone out there has already published a slideset that you can use as a model. You can look for examples and sources using Slidebay.com. Please respect intellectual property. And do credit your sources.
Try the Search for Interesting Images
Pictures make your presentation come alive. On Slidebay.com, I have set up an interface for searching Flickr.com for images that are available under a Creative Commons licence that allows you to use them in your slides, that are considered interesting by the Flickr.com community, and that are free from overtly adult content. Try the search using this form below — and again, please respect the licence under which the photos were released.
